It's hardly a waste of money, it's one of the best games ever made, re-released. You obviously haven't played it very much, as it does in fact have some extra levels (one of which you can get to with only 8 stars), and though they're not very big, it's something, which it seemed is all you wanted. Despite being the original 3D game, it's still such an incredible world, and rewarding structure, it remains one of the best games there is. Far better than all the EA PS2 releases on PSP...

Lets not forget that Super Mario DS has four playable characters and all of the caps were removed and replaced by the different characters special abilities. Plus, there are new stars and the older stars were changed to fit the new characters. Also to unlock each character you must go through a new level and fight a boss that wasn't in the original. I don't know why you would say that Mario DS is a waste of money for only a small amount of $29.99 (US dollars) despite the fact that most game stores still sell the old one on the N64 for $15-20.

Erm.. nope.. it can't easily be broken (but the cards are small, if you're careless I supposed you could lose them, but you can lose anything!
).

I like carrying around one of the greatest games ever in my pocket. Also the mini-games are mad fun.

I have to agree with everyone.
It muct have been hard for them to improve a classic, but they did it. Four playable characters, new stars, and even a couple new levels. Plus mini-games. It's great!
