erm, a hunewearl is a hunter, so mind with a hunter is useful....

And the fact that it isn't how much hp you have. It is a combination of hp/defense. And with a HUnewearl using deband there is a much higher defense thus reducing the damage taken.

Mind is great on HUnewearls, so only add a little to a HUmar for Resta, and the occasional Jellen and Zalure.

I can take on Ultimate Seabeds at lv.126, infact I did it earlier, the only problem is the lil' compacty guys that shoot Megid, point being my HUnewearl can easily match up to your HUmar anyday. FOmar puts the HUmar to shame, with the ability to use all HU wepons excepting swords, daggers, and partisans. And then the FOmar can use FO wepons. With lv.30 S/D J/Z puts the HUmar to shame, HUnewearls with high mind and a Rika's Claw, or Nei's Claw make pretty decent HUFOs. Sure they don't compare in MST to FOs, but the other 8 classes won't match up. Even RAmarl. And HUmar, has two good animationsaber, and partisan, nothing else is worth using really. You are slower in daggers than a female class, and even slower than a HUcaseal, you can't support yourself effeciently. They just are plain crap. Once again not to mention hard as hell to level. My friend and I had the game around the same time and I was leveling about twice his levels gained per day..........they just aren't good. Except they are the only ones to use a Zanba.......and even then a HUcast can use one....

If you're going to say that mind doesn't matter for a hunter, go with a HUcast. They have better HP and defense then HUmar. If you're going to say that spells matter for support, then HUnewearl is better than a HUmar as well. In essence, HUmars aren't specifically good at anything, except being male human hunters. Anything that they try to be vaguely good at, something else is better for. The HUnewearl with her MST can learn higher level shifta and deband, so her strength and def are still better then the stats of a HUmar, in any practical battle situation. HUmars aren't that good, from what I've read here.
