No, I don't own any hacked items. I've played with people who do, however.

Just today I played with a new person who I've known for just a few days now. He didn't have a keyboard so it was hard to understand him, but he would tend so say things like "I don't have a double saber" using Word Select (he'd say this even when he had one equipped, which baffled me). Thing is, he said he lost his double saber once or twice. When I searched his card, I would frequently notice him in Deneb or other places... thus, he probably didn't know anything about FSOD and that's how he lost it. Today he pops up talking about his new Twin Brand, which was cool... I didn't think anything of it at the time. So we started TTF. After the dragon run I finally got the ATP to re-equip my own Twin Brand, so I wanted to pipe back to get it... but just before I did, he pulled out a Game Magazine.

So suddenly I get suspicous, also of the Dragon Slayer he had been complaining about not having and just today got. I ask him about the Twin Brand and its percents. 100 Native... 100 Dark... 25 hit. Obviously hacked. I tried to make him understand... told him clearly to get rid of that hacked stuff and stay away from Deneb. I don't know if he understood or not.

Then I piped back to get my Twin Brand, and I saw something rather odd. On Pioneer 2, there were these two gigantic blue egg things... they were translucent blue and filled with little multicolored stars. Never seen those before. Now, why would they be there? They couldn't have anything to do with the presence of hacked equipment, right? But why else would they have appeared just today? :ermm:

EDIT: I might also like to add that we met a Hildeblue on the way to the dragon. He picked up the rare and then, when I asked him what it was, he simply dropped a Photon Drop in reply. I wonder why... if it were a God/Arm, he should've just said so...

The graphical error you described could have been blue bubble i guess, but i have never heard of it appearing like that before. Odd, a hacking thread and someone has me stumped. It wasnt to do with weapon percentages, but could have been a hacked item which had been edited to display some kind of graphical effect (some weapons do that). I'd say keep away from that guy, or save his illogical mind before it gets to be too late.

Not illogical, I think; just naive. He goes to the hacker blocks, says a couple random word select phrases and bam, he has new hacked weapons.

What I saw on P2 was not an accident; it looked like some decoration that would belong in the lobby for some reason. Both "eggs" were clearly shaped and were on a pedestal thing. I don't know what blue bubble is, though...

did you start the quest in EP2? if so then that would be the cause of the eggs showing up (the eggs are part of the decorations, special things show up when you start a ep1 quest in ep2 on the special events)

Acutally, yes, that was it. He started the game in episode 2. Huh. Wonder why that would have an affect, though?

its just the way its set up, if you did that during xmas, you'd see wreaths, at halloween pumpkins

Oh, thats all it was. I didn't know they re decorated P2 except with NPCs like the sonic characters every now and then.

The npcs aren't decorations lol. I'm usually running around as an npc. My name is Revan.

Teh, you have freaked out God IX and you have jsut freaked me out to! No, on sonics birthday they did put the sonic characters up as decorations, although yo ucan play as them to... Id be egg man just to annoy people.
