I'm a big fan of the books, and I want to see this film, and probably will, but I'm worried that it will annoy me immensely.
I do, however, feel that the casting for the voice actors was perfect.

I watched it, I watched it! ^_^
Was better than I expected. The characters were more or less what I imagined them to be. I thought Marvin would have looked more like an injured Dubchic just with a bigger head, constantly complaining about the pain in the all the diodes down his left side (but he didn't even mention the pain).
The remained pretty faithful to the book. The little cartoons are great. Not a film I'd see over and over again, but give it a chance. The music's good. Yes, even the fish song.
I always saw Marvin as a bit bigger and with a normal sized head but I love that character.

I was surprised by the size of Marvin's head (it was outrageously large!), but my favourite was Trillian because they made her mad hot =)
The worst poem in the galaxy is somewhere on this planet we must find it and all of its copies and put it in that big warehouse at the end of "Indiana Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark" that way no one will have to naw their own leg off just to hear it.
heard all the radio, none of the telly, and half way throught reserraunt book, but this is a film i WILL see!
