Hello all.

I've just downloaded Blue Burst, and it seems like it's going to be a great game. However, I do have a problem.

I can't start the game.

I've patched it, logged in, and everything else -- but when I press "Start Game", and then press ENTER again when it prompts me to, the whole PSOBB screen (not the desktop, I have it in windowed mode in WINDOWS 2000) goes into the background image. In other words, it stays in that weird swirly blue/black background that you see when you START GAME.

I suspect it has something to do with my ports being closed. Which ports are used for it? And what else could I do, if it's not due to the ports?

See this thread for ports. I had the same problem. I think my ports were open for the patch server, but not the gameplay server (I think that's 12000-12010). So disable your router (for a short time) and firewalls and then try to join. Should work. Then you just need to figure out how to open ports .
