Original Post 8:25pm All they need now to win the war are exclusive titles/series from third parties such as SEGA, Capcom, THQ and EA to come out for the Revolution. They NEED to get busy with building bigger relationships and flashing the cash. If they can get GTA on the system, blimey, the skies the limit. Thats whats given the PS2 its crown, and that alone - FACT. If Rockstar made GTA multi-format, including Revolution, then itll be an interesting console war.
[EDIT]
According to rumour and speculation... Nintendo could be pulling another stint on May 19th at E3 by showing some more of the Revolution off.
Hold on... THATS TOMMORROW! OMG! I hope they dooo..... What else could they possibly pull out?!
Like 10 people in my class, have xbox's only, as soon as they saw the new zelda, there like HOLY S&*T. Now there all getting gamecubes just for that game lol.
a secret showing tomarro...wow that would be cool....like showing of controllers >.<
I must be the only person in this thread that was disappointed with the Nintedo E3 conference.
I sure hope that Nintendo launch a coup today with a real look at the Revolution. If they don't get a move on I may select another console for my main gaming needs with a Revolution for those must have Nintendo exclusives (Zelda and Pokemon only for me).
I have a DS and I think its very overrated. Most games I've played for the DS are merely short burst rather than immersive time eaters.

Exactly..I feel the exact way about Nintendo, although that is how they intent to make thier games, short and addicting, so you want to play them ove and over again, although, I am going to buy every system, cause I play all games...I am to addicted to games..but, hey.
Just to let you all know, whether you have heard it yet or not, Nintendo of Europe have given the new Legend of Zelda game (The Twilight Princess) a release date of November 2005. Thats means you can enjoy it over the christmas holidays!
Here's some of the latest quotes on the Revolution from Shigeru Miyamoto himself:
"I'd love to be able to show you the features of the Revolution controller and tell you about them. However, unfortunately if we do that too early those ideas would be stolen. We know that from past history. Analog stick. Boom - gone. Rumble Pak. We bring it out and everybody has to have rumble. We got the wireless out first and now there's wireless everywhere. So we have to keep it under wraps."
"If we rely solely on power of console to dictate to where we're going with games, I think that tends to suppress the creativity of designers. They tend to rely solely on what the technology allows them to do instead of thinking of new and creative ideas."
"As far as the Revolution is concerned, development is going really well. But at the same time, this is a trade show and we want to concentrate on our business for this year. So rather than rush out in a panic and try to get a bunch of information out to people, we want to give out some of the general concepts and we're going to save everything else for when we're all set. Next year, when it's the year of the Revolution, we'll bring out everything from under the wrapping paper."
I am renewed in my realization that this man is a genius! Nintendo's marketing strategy and outlook on the future is absolutely amazing. It's an incredibly smart idea to hold back the details of your system in order to prevent idea theft. They're gonna let XBOX360 and PS3 develop into unchangable finalized forms before letting the secrets of the Revolution out. Simply brilliant. Unfortunately it sounds like Revolution is going to stay under a curtain of mystery for a while longer, but I'm now 100% positive that when it does emerge and show itself we will be utterly blown away!
Yeah xbox and ps were kinda shitty for doing that. Taking what nintendo did. Very good idea to keep everything under wrap for now hehe. I wonder how many people commented on the ps3 controllers. Looked like crap to me.
yes i think that was a very good point how everybody is rushing the system news....if they just keep to what they know then everything will be fine
Im getting the xbox 360...the new ps looks crappy!
