i just got an ar 4 my xbox and 1 of my friends said it could be used 4 phantasy star online 1&2 how do i do this and wat does it do

Anti codes and asthetics when not in battle like lobby animations and visible items on P2 (mags weapons etc) do not affect gameplay and so if he was planning on using those, he would still be legit.

You don't have to use an AR for un-legit purposes, I use mine for antis on PSO and visible P2 weapons so i can see if someone is using a hack before i even take a pipe down and get a nice BSOD. Most AR users are bad, but not all are. The fact he is called legit leader probably means he wants some codes to protect his legit style of gameplay.

The action replay is a cheat device

Primarily that is what it is used for, actually it is just a way of recoding some surface elements of a game. You could make the game harder if you really wanted to, so technically it isn't just a cheating device.
