Actually, it's been said that the third variable on the Sealed J is used as the kill counter (for the up-to-23k kills). Thus, it can only have two other percents.
What are the main dangers of hackers and how do you avoid them? Ive heard they can corrupt your memory card data...can they do this no matter what? or can they only do it via trading items etc?
*sigh* Look around this site, there are answers in the hacks & cheats forum. Hackers can force a save in the lobby and FSOD you in the middle of a save. Thus, corruption. But most of them won't actually DO that... unless you hang out in Deneb 10 too much like I said. ¬_¬
So I could spend hours training a character, go online only to lose it? Seems a waste to me.

People with no lives who like to irritate others and cause misery to keep themselves happy disgust me, they act so clever over a computer but get them alone in a room with you and they wouldnt say a word, they'd be on the floor half dead before they got the chance to say one word. Just because people hack doesn't mean they don't have lives. Hacking is a hobby of mine. I love breaking into software and finding out what makes it tick. Granted, I am also a cracker. Meaning, I steal passwords and user names from computer places such as email accounts and my school. Also, not all hackers are fat, or out of shape. I'm in good shape. I have free time so I learned how to hack and stuff like that. It's IMPOSSIBLE to make anything 100% hack proof. Every game or program has that one little hole or bug that lets them get blown wide open.
This is true; no matter how much anti-hacking code you put into a program, it will still be vulnerable just as soon as you realize how the program works. Find where in the code a program does what it does (or in the case of AR, I'd suppose it's in hex or something), and change that, and bam, it's hacked.
Shadow: Sounds more like a problem without your Xbox or the service you're trying to enter. I use Gamecube myself so I am just guessing. However, any player you meet on PSO could be a hacker. But bear in mind that this does NOT mean they will FSOD or corrupt you. In fact, most hackers I've met are pretty nice. They only tend to get pissed off if people yell at them for being illegit, just BECAUSE they're illegit. Elitists, in other words... haha, that's how I think of them anyway. I am functionally legit (only duping for FSOD backup purposes), and so when hackers give me items I politely refuse them, and they usually understand. But if they aren't causing trouble, there's no reason to hate them all with one blanket statement (like some people I could mention ¬_¬).
Personaly i dont hate them, i like them alot really as they can do something i would like to be able to do.....but why corrupt other peoples games??????
Is that some form of sick, twisted fun that they have????
but otherwise i would agree, they are alright
