Yeah unless you know what you are doing don't do it.

true if you get corrupted and lose all your hard work for ??? hours then you will be angered that you got online in the first place. You could always make dupes and use them as backups as soon as you do corrupted but if you really care about all your characters then you shoudnt try to go online.

Its allright in my opinion.

I have been offline only since PSO V1 on DC till recently. I got the Xbox version and it has 2 months of free online since I already have Live. I will cancel when the 2 months is over though. The only thing good about online play is the online only quests, other then that I would say stay offline. Online has hackers, cheaters, and you get memory corruption easier when you play online.
