alot of the time the messeges like that arent from viruses, its from glitches made by running too many programs and such...
Lee-yoshi Wrote:I have lots of adware on my computer and its VERY annoying. Would i just look for .bat files, and delete any i find?

Not if I were you! Especially autexec.bat, that's what makes your PC components work when you turn the whole thing on!

No, it's best to check any suspicious ones for the term NET SEND, as that's what generates that message. And I'm 99% sure that's an advert. If your registry was corrupt, your PC wouldn't work very well!

And of course, everything is AOL's fault! Big Grin
Lol, thanks, i was recently advised to download a program called Ad-Aware because it would clear everything, but you know thats not true XD You can obviously tell im also not a highly technical guy, although mind you i wouldnt have deleted all .bat files willy nilly if i did get annoied enough! Tongue
Hehe! Okay, well, mayaswell ask if anyone else has a specific question about their PC before I close this? Or are you not done guys?

I'm thinking that your screen resolution may be to blame... I have a larger screen res on my laptop than the computers here at work and the images, especially your signature image, look squished on the laptop. Here at work they take up most of the screen!

But then again my laptop is wide-screen... (1280x800 on the lappy, 800x600 at work)
Widescreen might be to blame Ria, I personally wouldn't worry. Smile
How can a widescreen make my image squished? O_o
