in the fansite ares i cant find any of the new threads, they just dont appear, but if i click on the "newest post" display then i can get to it...is it my pc?

Maybe not. Go to that page, and near the bottom, where it says "Display Options", change it so that it says

Sorted By: Last Post Time
Sort Order: Descending
From the: Beginning

Click Show Threads.
