i've heard, even if its not equiped and its in ur bank, it can still effect ur drop rate

I'm saying this from personal experience. I have equipped my hacked lv.1304 Chao mag and found no rares (Red boxes), even when I killed enemies with a 87.5% drop rate. I killed 4 Nar lilys and only got Meseta, took the Chao mag off, and killed another and got the Flowen's Shield I was looking for.
Any of you that have a hacked Mag (Over lv.200), if you have it equipped, take it off and put it in your bank. Quite and save, turn your Gamecube off, turn it back on and continue playing with the hacked mag still in your bank.
Your drop rate will return to normal.

Tsunami, have you ever heard of No Double-Posting? Anyway, it does affect your drop rate, it lowers it. And sure you got a Flowens Shield, but did you get any recent rares before that(like the same day you got the Flowens Shield)? And if you did, it does sometimes happen. You just got lucky then.
Anyway, do whatever you wish with it, it doesn't make you a bad user, just kinda illegit. Like I'd keep it and make a testing character to see what effects it has to your gaming, other than that though, if you want to be legit, get rid of it.

And no, I didn't find any rare red boxes while I had the Chao equipped, I did find several before and after the MAG was gone however.
