I've lost count of how many girlfriends I had. Dunno what number you're on. The first ones hurt the most, I speak from experience. It's a part of life man, not everything always works out...56k modems don't always get upgraded...*kicks self* I mean...yeah. It hurts sometimes, and you wonder why, because if you or both you really felt...you know... connected...it hurts even more.

I appreciate it guys. The only thing is that she was the first one. So of course it hurts, I'm starting to move on already but the thing that hurt the most was that apparently... from the beginning she thought of me as only a friend.
That right there is a stuck-up girl who is only trying to through more dirt in your face. I'd do the same to her and forget about her then.
I had a stuckup girlfriend once, she started talking about my friends and giving them shit, and I noticed she was so self-admirent...I dumped her the next week.
I really don't think that that's it at all. I genuinely think that she really just thought of me as a friend from the beginning and was just too nice to say no when I asked her out. I know it may not seem that way to you guys but I know her well enough because she did the same sort of thing to another friend of hers. Guess I should have seen that one coming eh?
I hate it when girls are too soft...they can think guys are insecure or will commit scuicide if the guy finds out she doesn't love him.
Love is a complicated thing on both ends...
It most certainly is and I guess at this point it's just going to take some time. She just really was a special person... not sure I'm not going to find another like her.

On the plus side, I'm still very good friends with my first girlfriend.

You know what's funny? Now that we're broken up, I notice all the couples/love stuff in the media/radio/movies/paper. It kind of gets annoying.
