I'm not sure. I know I've done it with a handgun because that's what my Hunter does.

Retired Hunter has a timer as well. Those three are the only ones I can think of.

yeah being on a timer really gets on my nerves too... i hate it
but at least native research is an easy timed mission thow
if it was a hard one i'd probably not have much chance at the lv i did it

in letter from lionel i hate that they make u go from forest to caves and back to forests that confused me at first...
whenever I get confused in that quest I just go and kill all of the monsters that there is to kill.
