I really hope Episode IV comes to GameCube or Revolution. I can't pay the Hunter's Licence so I can't play Blue Burst :'( :'( :'(
What do you think the chances are of Episode IV reaching GameCube or Revolution?
This is a single-choice poll and will remain open indefinatley. Names will not be recorded.
am sorry to be the burden of bad news but its been anouced for ps2.
Xbox and cube have been left in the lurch alltogether with practically no chance for cube or even rev now...
(edit) bringer of bad news sounds better right lol (edit)
If it is to be released for PS(-hit)2 then they would have to have 1 + 2 in there aswell, as ep 4 is very small from what I have heard

Lol! No, thats Phantasy Star Universe, thats not Episode IV!
Episode IV is currently only announced as an expansion pack for Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst on PC, but it could very well become an expansion on the game from the console versions... and id very much like to see that!
As ive said in a edition of the Hunters Gazette, it could totally work, but it's just upto Sonic Team whether they want it to work or not. I bet a nice contribution from Nintendo would boost the idea
What could happen is for Sonic Team to release Episodes IV & V (An upcoming episode... unannounced, but come on, there must be more!) in another compilation alike Episodes I & II, for the Nintendo Revolution, using the Gamecubes Episodes I & II save file so you can continue with your characters from the first game on Gamecube! That way it would not only replenish the current Gamecube lobbies life, aswell as PSO, because i believe many more people probabily played on consoles then Blue Burst when it was first announced. PSO would come out greatly as a superior MMORPG if that did happen.

I said 'Could Go Either Way', because I really have no idea! It would be really cool if it was released on GCN or Revolution, though.

Hehe, no, you seem to have misunderstood again my friend!
That is Phantasy Star IV, from the Phantasy Star series, the series that started it all, and that lived on the SEGA MegaDrive. That is not Phantasy Star Online! However i am confused over why they have put that in the PS2 listings unless it is another game to be included in a compilation.
The one you'll be looking for on PS2 is Phantasy Star Universe, and also if you live in Japan/America (Coming soon if not already released in the states), Phantasy Star Generations (A compilation of the old Phantasy Star titles - SEGA Ages).
Just to get things straight, Phantasy Star Generations is Phantasy Star Trilogy in America (released sometime in 2005 in the states, not sure when). With I, II, and I V (skipped III, haha). The old PS games are irelevant to PSO, might as well call PSO Bob considering it really has nothing to do with PS. I am not sure if PSU will go according to PS though, that would be interesting. As long as PSU has a good story like most of the PS games, I'll be happy.

Talk about going for an overkill (or trying to...) phantasy star iv yes ill exept.
It is the remake of the original Megadrive title (genisis sounds so cruddy dont it) so i got 1 thing wrong 1 NOT 2 !!!
But it says even less for the games overall release from the looks of it in hindsite i threw in a little false hope for any ps2 fans out there who deserve it after UNIVERSE...
looking futher into it the chances are more remote than ever sorry P.C is set to be the only format for Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst Episode IV Resources: board
