i only use n-n-n, hard atacks only with a high hit percentage, and the enemy must not be to strong or you will miss(ultimate mode) special only when i need to steel some tp or hit an enemy in a def state(death gunner)

This is how I tend to do it.
Low ATA: NNH
High ATA: NHH
Really High ATA: HHH
If the weapon has a good special (ex: FS, or some high hit% Gush Vulcans): NSH or NSS

If you have lots of money, get some Charge weapons with good hit% and then just do NSS.
you can also get a weapon that has a special that frezes and when the enemy is frozen do a hard-hard-hard, you won't miss because the enemy is frozzen
you can still miss a frozen enemy, but if you do it doesnt matter because it wont chase after you like a dewented frog
n-h-h seems pretty good to veryone, it has to be said...
