I am sorry for the dealy of this issue I was sick over the weekend and I was dealyed in retreiving my imfomation for this issue.

Many wounder where this unbeleivibly strong weapon came from. Many also wounder how? Will we ever find out?

Unfortunatly I wasnt able to get a hold of ST this time but I thought I'd get a view of it through PSO expert, Luke Henderson (Many of you know of him as Decswxaqz on this site) this is what he had to say when I asked him what he thought of how the wepeon came to be. This is what he had to say; "Its obviously real, since it is located on the disc. noone has ever managed to make a Tsumikiri J-sword from nothing. There is a problem of ST banning items. Certain items are still banned, witch suggets that Tsumikiri J-sword is still possible, because its not banned."

I also asked him what he thought of the weapon; "I don't know. I've never had one, and I don't want one anyhow. They have become synonymus with dupping. So even if I did have one, people would think I dupped, which I don't want to happen at all. I'm legit and I'm proud of it, so I don't need something like that."

I also asked him on wether ST might be able to figure out what ones are dupes and he said, "There really is no way to find out, some players might not know its dupped, so tht wouldnt be fair, but part is to blame on sega because for making these glitches possible. Some seem to be sloppy coding, but every game has errors."

Carl Hamilton (Known as Proj3ct Zero on this site) also agreed with Luke that its been hacked into PSO before Sonic Team released it; "At the moment it is known to be hacked. From all the drop charts I have seen on the interbet, there are none that list of how to legitly obtain it. There is no doubt it IS a real weapon, ST has simply not yet released it. Some day I hope this great weapon will someday be released, but at the moment I think PSO hunters should be given a temporary ban so they can get a chance to get rid of the weapon b4 they are allowed back online."

Just a bit of info about the wepon:

You need 910 ATP to use this weapon
Its speacial efect is the same as the Sealed J-sword
Only its more powerful (The sealed J-sword is known to be a real item officially released from ST I beleive)

So hopefully we can sort this out and get this magnificent weapon to be legit, until then, if I get any updates I'll be sure to let you know.

Its a shame so many people have taken to duping, like u said theres so many copies, u cant ever be sure of whether the weapon is the real deal or a copied version, which is a shame for what few legitimate players remain playing and trying to enjoy Phantasy Star Online. Hopefully Episode 3 will hold the answer to duping, and give us all a completely fun and legit experience!

A) Finding it. It's not on any drop charts
B) Unsealing the Unsealed J-Sword, if there is any relation between them at all.

It's obviously a real weapon, because it's located on the disc. Noone has managed to make any useful codes on the GC to bring the Tsu J-Sword from nothing. It's just a case of when ST release it officially if ever. Although, there is the problem of ST banning items. Certain items are still banned, which suggests that the Tsu J-Sword is possible, because it's not been banned. It's just that noone has found how to make one properly.

They've become synonymous with duping, so if I had one, people would think I duped, which I most certainly do not want to happen. If you can get it legitly at the time being, then leave it as it is. If you can't, then it should be banned. Anyone found in possession with one should be banned for a month. Since there would be no official way of getting it at the minute, it means you have either hacked or duped it, which is against the TOS. You are found with it again, banning for life.

decswxaqz: There's no way to work out if it's a copy really. All you can go off is the %s. But it's common for rares to have the same %s, so you couldn't do a blanket ban on everyone with [insert duped weapon] and 50%Hit. Someone could have found one legitly with that, that's not fair. You can ban everyone with a hacked item, like some of the music discs, and the Flame Garment BEFORE it was released. Any item, not yet possible to get, should be banned, anyone found in possession with one gets a banning too. That shouldn't be a problem for everyone. Not everyones a hacker and so will never come across it, if they play by the rules. As said above, it's against the TOS, you should be banned first time. Although, part blame does have to go to SEGA for making some of the glitches accessible. Some seem to be sloppy coding, but every game has coding errors. NOTHING, is 100% perfect. It's just that people spread these glitches around, so it's common knowledge now.

well, i have a players gide that was relesed with the game that has the t.j. sword in it so unless the hack was pland, name stats and all by the st i isent a hack.

Thats only because

A) I did not wish it to be very long becuse of the character limit
and
B) Some things you said carl said as well
and
C) I tried to stay at the size of an average news article

I apologize if it didnt come out the way you did. Next time just ask what parts you want in there (Try not to say all or most of itas lets remeber about the character limit)

I'm sorry not to be able to give you any mroe information on it, my mind was a bit blank then. I never actually said that it was a great weapon, but I could imagine that it is :p. Never actually had one to try out. And if I did, it would most probably 99% be duped anyway.

Ive got to give credit to you. At first I wasnt really getting into the news report thing, but I actually think its quite good. The most important thing you want to get right is the subject. Get the right subject and your flying . Well done and keep up the good work.

well i have 3 and id bet that thay are all dupes (peeps have a tendincy of droping them i cant just leave them thare can i?)

erm.... yes you can. I wouldn't pick any rare up unless I knew the person or I had seen it drop myself. Even if I really wanted it, which I don't, with any weapon. And if you had read anything me or zero said, unless someone has actually found one from an enemy drop or unsealed the other sword, its not only a dupe, its a hack as well.
