You never do damage with demon or devil.

What do you mean by that? Demon's is clearly the most powerful special in the game =/

True... but it has to actually hit first.

Specials become very difficult to use on Ultimate, so things like Charge, Spirit, and Berserk may actually be more effective than Demon's due to their higher success rate. Of course... if someone were to get a Demon's Vulcan with 50% hit or more... then I would be afraid... very afraid

1) Demon's is more accurate than Charge or Spirit, and as accurate as Berserk.

2) Demon's Vulcan would miss a lot, since Demon's is reduced on mechguns.

3) It is not hard to hit with Demon's in Ultimate, especially not on RAmar or RAmarl, I use Demon's a lot in Ultimate Desert, it makes it all so much easier, my teammates usually laugh at how quickly monsters hit by Demon's die.

i know, i kinda got demons and beserk mixed up..... i may try a demons rifle sometime though (with hit, naturally )

is there a lower chance of hitting, say a sinow spigell with demons than a mothvist except for the EVP difference? for example, if you shot at a mothvist, and hit, would it have the same chance of doing demons than if you shot a spigell and hit? sometimes they do damage without doing the specail i find...

Demon is a good special but still i dont use it much.

I have 2 with 45% hit... not good at all.... they suck....

jarl, I'm almost certain the only thing that affects the amount that Demon's will hit is your ATA and their EVP. The odds of it working when it hits are set (correct me if I'm wrong) and they are also pretty high. Usually if you don't get the "MISS" then it will do the funny symbol and drain the HP a certain %, but other times it will just hit the enemy and make the sound but not do any damage. The Hell special does that alot if you want to see what I'm talking about.

Devil's and Demon's have no success rate, they are directly dependent on ATA, so it is not possible, if you do not miss the target, that the special does not work. Much like Charge, Spirit and Berserk.

Yes it will pwn if it has hit percentage.
