I usualy die when I am surrounded by enimies (mostly dimanians). I would perfer a sword over a partisan because they are a lot stronger. I use a last surviver. I think that since only hunters can use them, you should take advantage of it.
I also would like to know what magic to use. I have Rafoi, and gibarta equiped for my custimization (sp).
ok. last survivor is CRAP. ABSOLUTE CRAP. rafoie is good, but i would have something like zonde (for the belra's) and rafoie. instead of LS, try a dragon slayer. they are much better, and you will have one if you have a skyly which i think you do. if you die while surrounded by enemies, have dimates as well as resta on the quick menu, and make sure you have the mag attack pilla as that hits all enemies near you. its basically a much cooler farla. also, you NEED a gun to kill things from a range, its worth taking something that you may think bad, such as a varista. use yamato BTW, they rule stag cutlery, unless it has %'s in dark/hit. (they have to be at least 15 though, but that shouldnt be a problem if you tech them right- all weapons %'s can be teched up by 10%. so if you have a weapon with 5% native you can turn it into 15% native.
hm...... i seem to be the only one that says partisans>swords (unless youre stong enough to kill in three hits...) because i can never find a way to get out of the way after i use the sword combo. >_>.
anyway, a gun would help loads. preferrably mechs but use a handgun if you dont have a lot of dex on your mag or else youll never hit. thats what i always do when my humar is in an overwhelming area. pull out a gun, problem solved.
and, please tell me you arent using your techs ALOT... humars are not made to be excellent spell casters if you wanted to use techs and melle you wouldve been better off being a huney >_>. i never use techs with my humar (except resta and j/z) and if youre not using j/z right now it would definetly help you.
80% of the Swords in PSO are stronger then all Partisans. The only Partisan a Hunters should use is Yunchang.
Make your RAmar hunt a Dragon Slayer with hit.
i think you misunderstood me. I was saying i like partisans animation more cuz it gibs me more time to move out the way before getting knocked the hell out.
i never use partisans, to be honest... i think theyre sucky... i like weapons that do planty of dmg getting hit isnt rly a big deal for me.. and sword is ALOT more useful than anything in mines, except maybe guns..

o well if im the only person that likes partisans then so be it. they ALWAYS work for me.......bitches
The only time I use Partisans is when I'm low on TP. Then I use my Geist Gungir with 20% hit. Even then I usually only use it with my Frozen Shooter.
i likew twins but yeah swords are very useful bt if anything guns are the best thing to have unless they crowd the dorways. bt god hp is useful as hell i wish i had one lol, just find a statigie that works kee re stocking on mates and fluids just carry ten pipes and when your running low pipe back for more. oh and like use my favorite combo attack, nhh-normal, hard, haul ass!
Also, are you getting out of the way after you do the combo, or do you just stand there and not move while trying to get another combo off?
