Did Anyone get any exam results today? Will you be getting them next week?
I got my A-level results today, 4 As, and so I will be going to Cambridge University in October, I'm so pleased ^-^
I also did a Chemistry Advanced Extension Award in Chemistry. I got a Merit, which is very good, but I was one mark off a distinction!
Damn, 4 As. Props to you, that's pretty awesome, though I know someone who got 5 As (one of the smartest people in my school).
I got my A-Level results as well today. A in French, Bs in German and Politics, and a C in English Lang and Lit. I'm a (somewhat) talented linguist and my school and sixth-form was a language college so the foreign language teaching and resources there are really good, which helped me a lot.
I'm very pleased with my results, I was expecting lower grades for English and Politics since I hate English (and especially the exams) and while Politics was my favourite subject I thought I screwed up a bit (I also made the mistake of writing an environmentalism essay, which probably wasn't the wisest choice but hey, I'm an environmentalist myself
).
I might be applying for Uni this year. I want to study Journalism and French at Sheffield Uni (I don't really want to leave Sheffield yet) and for that I need 3 Bs, which I've surpassed. So I'm pretty happy.

I didn't both French and German for my GCSEs, but decided it was just too much, I didn't want to carry on learning vocab and grammer for them both on into my A-levels. I also preffered sciences, explaining my A-levels of Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics!
There was someone at my school who got 5 As too, but they cheated a little (
) they didn't do them all this year.

Exam results are a big part of what you do with the rest of your life, and you two wont have any problem by the looks of things. It's almost as if you're a shoe-in (Pun Pun.. *Awaits uncontrollable laughter*!)
