PLEASE HELP! Ever since the day my PSO data was corrupted I have been trying to find a way to backup my memory card data to PC. I have seen a special USB memory card online but I am poor Wink and looking for other methods... Does anyone know if I can use a modem adapter to network to my PC? Are there any other ways I can do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only method i know of is the USB Memory Card you mentioned. I didnt think they were all that expensive though!
Network and modem? Think about those terms for a moment.

The only way to back it up is by using that USB memory card. Link it up and it should read the info. (I don't know how it'll appear on a computer.) But I think if your computer reads it as an external drive, you should know what to do. Even though it's obvious, I shouldn't technically post it.
Ivan, i don't know if you are correct there (with it being the only way)
There is a way to get connection between you pc and gc, im not gonna say how, because i dont know if im alowed to do so here.
But there is a way to do it, if you dont have a usb-memory card.
Its really a big mess, but im thinking of doing it anyway...
google is your friend.
Two words:

Crossover cable

GameSaves mem card? I'm confused.
Couldn't you use a network cable going from your gc to your pc? or won't that work?
Most likeley I would think only if you had high-speed.

You save your data onto the memory card, plug it to your computer through a cable, save the data onto your harddrive. I also backed ym saves up onto CDs so if my cards all corrupt and my harddrive crashes I'm all good.
