(this thread is slightly different from my last one, but mods: if you feel it's redundant, just lock the old one, I'm done with it )

Ok well, I have a character now who's 2/3 of the way through cmode... about 4'09 ahead of the cumulative clear times. Originally I wasn't sure of what S-Rank to go for... but I already figured a few things:

• I will eventually have rare twin sabers for all of my 4 hunters. I'm still working on piping Syncestas for Double Cannon (but this is just a matter of time), I own one 30 hit Cudgel that will go to my HUcast once my HUmar's through with it, and I have a BKB on my HUnewearl already (this leaves my HUcaseal, but I'll find her a PoL or something later). So my hunters do not need srank twins.
  
• All three of my rangers currently use Spread Needles, so I have little use for an srank shot... I'd love to get them srank needles, but those are harder to get since they're in ep2. So if I got my rangers anything, I might get them twins with berserk or something. Maybe if I finish cmode with my FO, that's what I'll get.
  
• What my hunters need most is decent crowd control weapons. I have one 30 hit Red Partisan and one 25 hit Chainsawd... this covers only 2 of the 3 hunters who would really need such weapons (my HUnewearl uses a Soul Banish currently, but without hit).
  

So I've determined that an S-Rank Sword for my HUmar (thus moving the 30 hit RP to my HUnewearl) would be my best bet. Any thoughts? I recieved one opinion online that a partisan would be better, but comparing them reveals that the partisan is only 5 ATA better than the sword, but at the cost of almost 300 ATP.

The other issue is the special... Berserk is a popular option, but it's only good on a reliable weapon IMO, which sorta rules out the sword (I'm just thankful charge isn't an option, because then EVERYONE would be using charge... ugh). Exp drain is popular, sorta... but then when you get to 200 it becomes useless (not that I'll do that anytime soon, but it's still something to consider). Jellen and Zalure are interesting choices, and I've seen many Zalure weapons out there, particularly needles. J/Z specials hit with perfect accuracy, don't they? That's what I've heard. I figure maybe a sword with Jellen would help a lot in touch situations, particularly when soloing. What does everyone here think?

Spread Needle does not make S-Shot useless. S-Shot has more range, more power, and can get Berserk/Demon's.

Red scorpio is cool i just prefer my S-rank Launcher (lol its called the InuYasha Launcher +45 with zalure)

o_o Why, out of all weapons did you put Zalure on a Launcher?

I recall Kefka saying that RS has the highest ATP of the launchers... technically this is not true (I think) since the GGB and Nug do more overall damage... but then, neither of those weps can combo.

I already got the wep, jellen sword. A.S.: HUCAST??? Are you kidding me? He already can't hit half the time in ruins with it, even with normal first attack. Giving it to a HUcast would be suicide... that Jellen isn't as good as I thought it would be (the claws still do decent damage in online ruins).

I'm now thinking of going for some mechs for my RAmar and a twin for my RAmarl. I want to put either berserk or spirit on them. Spirit is safer, but doesn't it stop working when you're out of TP? :S

Max your HUcast's ATA, hunt S Parts 2.01, then see the result.

Also, Nug and GGB are Bazookas, not Launchers.

I always could spread ridiculous rumors on about things "I remember you saying", but who would care ? XD
