I find Yellowboze characters find several Addslots, I've only ever found 1 Addslot from a box with my Greenill.

my freind has 3 yellowboze he only gets addslots from gallons shop quest

Odd... oh well, must just be me. Must be kinda like my uncanny ability to get 2 or 3 Photon Drops each and every Ruins or Seabeds run I do. They drive me INSANE! At this rate I'm going to have enough for another Photon Sphere by sometime next week.

It probably takes less time to pipe and AddSlot then it does to find a PD and trade it in. (less then 1 hour to pipe and AddSlot, and I average about 1 PD every 5 hours of play... That's just me though.)

It is when you always expect a really rare item and you get Photon dropped.

I found that it's easy to find Photon drops from Very hard Hildebears in the quest "Forest of Sorrow".

...I wanted the head of the Hildebear, but I got about...3 photon drops in 1 run...

Well, PD's don't drop at different odds from different enemies. It's just a % that any tool item drop will be a Photon Drop. VH mode has a 0.5% chance of tool item being a PD. (Which is twice as common as the odds of a luck material!) And in Ultimate the chances are 0.8% for a PD.

Edit: CVanD isn't online either so PD's don't do him any good.

Tried hunting for it in some boxes some more, but think i'm finally gonna go ahead and make redria and do it that way, even though I always want to play my RAmar hehe, so it's tough to start a character that gets killed in 2 hits from a normal monster, hehe.

But yeah it definately will come in handy to get some. Even though I'm not online yet, I am saving up photon drops, so that when I finally call up the cable place and get broadband, I'll have some saved up to spend.

You can delete the Redria when you're done. Just make sure to take the mag and AddSlots back. It's no big deal, it only takes like 5 minutes to make another one. It's just a dummy character to pipe them if you don't already have a Redria. (but if you actually want to start one, then you can keep it)

redria is definately best way to get addslots appart from online, as nar lillys and hildblues in ep2 botyh drop it. best place to pipe nars is

start Temple1 with the smashers, go right, kill all, go north, kill all, flip switch, go west, kill 2 Dimenians, leave Lilies alon on other side of the gap, go south to smasher room again, go west, kill Dimenians and Lilies, go north, kill all, flip switch, return to the gap room, cross the bridge, halfway across 3 Lilies appear with 2 Dimenians and an Assassin, kill everything but the Lilies, there are 5 Lilies (2 original, 3 new ones), stand at south end of bridge and face north and pipe (stand next to one Lily)
