<strong>Support the Hedgehogs!</strong> <img src="/images/General.jpg" alt="General" width="8" height="8">

<P><FONT face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">A couple of weeks ago during the German Games Conference, SEGA and Sonic Team genius of such gaming greatness such as <EM>Sonic The Hedgehog</EM> and of course, <EM>Phantasy Star Online</EM>, Yuji Naka, decided to make the most of his time in Germany by taking a trip to the Naturschutzbund Leipzig Hedgehog Rescue Centre!</FONT></P><P><FONT face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><IMG style="WIDTH: 193px; HEIGHT: 242px" alt="Yuji Naka Goes to the Hedgehog Centre!" hspace=2 src="http://www.ragol.co.uk/uploads/news_images/01_09_05_01.jpg" align=left border=1></FONT></P><P><FONT face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Why? Because after recently losing Sonic in Germany, Yuji Naka wanted nothing more then to retrieve his spikey blue-haired soulmate, aswell as putting up a reward of 1,500 Euro's to the person who found and recovered Sonic himself. Luckyily, a trip to the Hedgehog Rescue Centre proved delightful as (Pictured) Yuji Naka finds Sonic again, and gives a reward to the rescue centre! It's a mini adventure!</FONT></P><P><FONT face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Of course, that isn't true, that whole last paragraph was a lie (And if you believed it for one second, maybe you should log off of this site and turn to the local mental institute for more help). Instead Yuji Naka and Sonic went down to the Hedgehog Rescue Centre to see what the real deal actually was with hedgehogs!</FONT></P><P><FONT face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><EM>"This was a very interesting experience, I learned so much about hedgehogs. Hedgehogs play a special role in my life as they changed and influenced my life in a very positive way."</EM> - Naka-San</FONT></P><P><FONT face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">After the tour had ended of the rescue centre, it was decided that Sonic Team was to give over a cheque of 1,500 Euro's (Over £1,000!) so they could keep up the good work, and then if that wasn't enough, it was announced that every forthcoming title from Sonic Team would carry an appeal for donations from all German gamers! If that wasn't enough still, SEGA of Europe (Germany) then decided that all sales made of SEGA and Sonic merchandise would be partially donated to the centre, and all the other hedgehog refugee's around the country! </FONT></P><P><FONT face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">They still didn't find anymore blue hedgehogs though...</FONT></P>
