Nintendo have really gone all out with advertising this game here in the UK! They're advertising it on packets of Bakers Complete (Doggy food!) and after getting our local newspaper today, on the frontpage was a news story about Nintendogs!
Here's the story online! Aparently they're funding dog homes now too! :S Now that's advertising! lol
I'm more of a cat person myself, so I'll wait till Nintencats comes out. I wonder what they'll do to advertise that... :S
I think illd prefernitencats as well but dogs will do for now

I still think SEGulls or sEAgulls would be a cool game

It's seagulls! Poop on everything you see! XD
How about Namcats? Capcod? THQuails (A bird game!)? The possibilities are endless!
NEW MESSAGE
I got Nintendogs yesterday through import (Took its time to arrive!) and so far all i can say is... this is a pretty sh*t game! lol
I guess i've gotta play it a little bit more though and get to teach my dog new stuff before its worth him being able to walk... anywhere or get anywhere in the competitions?
I am SO getting a chihuahua!
i am so not buying this game xD
i mean seriously its not to my liking. seems good if you like this kind of stuff. real dogs are cool enough and i can run them around. and i cant imagine what would happen to me if one of my friends saw that game in my house. i'd probably be outcast from society.

Promoting Nintendogs like there's no tommorrow so it sells aswell as it has across the world when the game comes out tommorrow (For those who's maybe forgotten!), cubed3.com has recieved lots of info concerning a recent advertising celebrity Nintendogs party! Read the hilarious article followed by the crazy images below:
Cubed3.com Wrote:There is no doubting that Nintendo firmly believe that nintendogs is going to be one of their most important new franchises ever. The amount of promotion they are throwing behind the European launch is awesome. TV adverts, early store openings and now...'celebrity' parties. Straight from the dog's mouth, so to speak:
To herald its arrival, Nintendo is today (Thursday 6th October) throwing one of the most lavish parties ever seen for virtual or real dogs (as compared to all the other virtual dog parties). The Puppy Party, hosted by all-round animal lover Bill Oddie (worse than Bob Monkhouse for the N64 launch), features dog-loving celebrities Myleene Klass (from defunct pop 'sensation' Hear Say) and Jeremy Edwards (erm...) as well as canine celebrities - Betty from Eastenders and Coronation Street's very own Schmeichel. Thereâll be dogs-eye video screens, a VIP (very important pooch) (that one is their joke, not ours) chill-out area, doggy Olympics and a doggy disco to round off the get-together with some barking good tunes (stop it now, please).
People already going barking mad (it be a pun!) for nintendogs include 12-year-old Becky Green from Sawbridgeworth, Herts. She says:
âTheyâre the cutest thing Iâve ever seen and my mum wonât let me have a real dog. It's different to other games. It's real life and it's cool how it responds to how you treat it. You'd more or less treat it how you'd treat a real dog" (apart from you don't stroke your real dog with a stick to show it affection and you certainly don't shut your real dog away in your bag when you're bored with it)
Surrey housewife Nina Shaplow, 43, seems set to give in to her teenage childrenâs demands:
âThere is a need to bring out games that are less violent...it will attract parents like me to buy for their children. And they are awfully cute.â
Twenty-four year old Julia Newbury â in retail - added:
"Great idea, great toy - for women like me and younger kids it is a brilliant idea. Play with dogs on your Nintendo DS stylus...if you can't get a real dog, play with a virtual one. Excellent!".
nintendogs is a brand new way to play and develops the concept of the virtual pet by adding a whole new dimension of interaction. Players can actually touch and speak to their dog which, will in turn react realistically to this attention. This interaction is unlike any other seen before on a games console. nintendogs is an ideal pet for people who canât own a real dog, it makes no mess, will never die (just like Satan) and definitely wonât moult all over your sofa!
nintendogs will come in three different versions â Labrador Retriever, Miniature Dachshund and Chihuahua - each with six different breeds of puppies to begin with, giving a total of eighteen breeds to choose.
Since its launch in Japan, the Japanese have been going barking mad (groan) for nintendogs â so much so that sales of the Nintendo DS console have rocketed to five times the average amount during the nintendogs launch week. In the US, the game racked up 250,000 sales in its first week â making it the fastest selling new franchise ever.
And as if all that wasn't enough, the whole 'Pooch Party' thing, it actually happened. We have photos to prove it. Below...
