Today, i was playing PSO like normal and then all of a sudden i tipped my cup over that had Lipton ice tea in it. 95% of the tea went on the desk, some of it just missing dripping onto my power surge bar under the desk, and the other 5% got on my keyboard. Not 1 minute later 1/2 my keyboard went dead...I couldn't use ENTER to reply to the person I was playing with on PSO. After shutting it off and using compressed air for 15 minutes i finally got my keyboard functioning again. Totally scared the crap out of me.
That is sooo frickin scary dude!!! if that happened to my laptop i would probably be dead cuz of high blood pressure XD. but i am reliefed that the laptop survived the liquid >_>
Be careful dude.
That poor ice tea Sad
Ha I spilled soup on my keyboard! Tongue

I was saving it for later, really...
That goes to show you:

"Don't drink and drive [or drink and play videogames]!"

Next time, use a sippy cup. Tongue
'tis completely fine now, works like normal. Let's hear it for compressed air. Tongue
Oh, have you seen those newer Toshiba laptops? Waterproof and everything! You can drop them off the desk and spill your tea on them and they still work! I know with my clumsy self that I would have to get one like that... Good to hear that you were able to get it working again. Just don't spill again. hehe

The keys could still get stuck, because the water can still get in the crevices.

I had to pop some of the keys off and use a q-tip.
