ok as a couple of u may or may not know i just got to ultimint with my skyly hucast . just unlocked the caves and hers my questions 1)whitch is the best of the rares 2)after i unlock all of the quests and can repeat them can i redo it and get a different item?
ok, you need to get the mineral in C3 to get a devcent rare, but basically you cannot do it again to get a different rare. its one rare a char. the bets rare to get is the HU type weapon (it will be called something like blade/sword) as that is a god hand, the most pwerful fist-type weapon in the game, and you can get very good % on them. for example, my first god hand i got 20% hit and 10% native (you cannot tech them up, he gives them to you teched) and for my second (i got this one accidentally) it was 40% hit and 45% native. as you can see, pwnsome%'s! if you cant find the mineral, its in cave 3, you go into a circular room with lots of purple gems in it. in the middle is a switch, look to the sides and you will see a couple of twinkels. its not obvious like in C1/2!
the thing is im not really into fist style weps and the best hand gun i have is a verista
if you don't like fist type you can chose the gun type (supressed gun) since you only have varista.
i got my supressed gun with 10% hit

Getting a Supressed Gun is kind of a waste of that character's SoaB rare. Those things are very easy to find whereas God Hands are not. The Technical Croizer is the cane weapon and it's special is a low level Barta. It's not that effective because i't so low of a level, but if you have any Forces in Normal or Hard, it could prove useful.
To get the C3 mineral, you must kill EVERY single enemy in Forest. Be careful when going over Forest because it's easy to miss one or two. Walk around the whole of each room to check for enemies that spawn from stepping in places, and wait a few seconds for timed spaws that may happen.
The C3 mineral is also in the small, circular room in the upper-rightish part of the map. There's another one that looks like it more on the left side, but it isn't it. And like jarl said, it's not blatantly obvious that the mineral is there.
(jarl, the gems are blue for me..... it's probably just the TV setting though.)
