I bought a brand new guitar 2 weeks ago....its an awesome guitar.....Barracuda Les Paul.....flame maple top, complete with gold pick-ups.

heres what it looks like ^ (its not a picture of MY guitar....this looks exactly like mine though)
Don't like it myself.

This is the ironic thing about me, I spend £3,000 on a keyboard, yet only £150 on a Squire Stratocaster, and since the model I have is no longer in production, it's worth a bit more now.

Squire is sort of like a budget company, but it also has quality, I do have more expensive guitars, such as a custom made one that cost me £1,400 or something, but I actually use the Squire more often.

I guess as a pro-musician, even I have some adverse views to things, lol.
I've got an Ibanez SDGR 305-DX at the moment. I'd really like to be playing a Musicman Bongo right now, but money's tight, so...
Anyway, I like the Les Paul, although I prefer the traditional bodies more.
Yeah, it's a post from a bassist, but we're sorta guitarists, too!
Wow, sweet guitars!

At the moment, I play a £30 Encore acoustic....which is lame.

But, I'm buying a 'Yamaha Custom Special Edition' (or something like that) guitar second-hand but hardly used from a friend. Its worth £250+, and I'm geting it with an amp for £100. Im pleased Big Grin
I only have a fender encore as it is my first guitar. When I get better I shall get better guitars.
Fender Encores dont exist....

You mean a Fender stratocaster design Encore guitar? My friend has a black one of them.

By the way, I found out the Yamaha I'm getting is silver Big Grin
Hey, that's cool!
I'm trying to get an acoustic bass at the moment, but all I can find is light woodtones... I guess there's just not much of a demand. I want to get one in darker woodtones, but there just AREN'T any.
Fender and Squire are the same company, so you can get a Fender/Encore.

Heh, what's the next topic, which slices your little finger in less, a 9 or 10 guage string, lol.
Yes, but Encore is a different company to Squier >>

I've seen acoustic bass guitars in the music shop near me.
My first guitar is my Candy Apple Ibanez RG-120 and my new one I just got is the black Ibanez S-470. I am saving up to get the Gibson Les Paul Faded Sunburst which is around $2,000. Keep saving those paychecks from work everybody! Big Grin lol
