Unfortunately you won't be able to play against one another online, but the Wi-Fi service will cross over with the Nintendo DS' Download Play to allow Sonic Team to hold official competitions which will be downloadable! While SEGA announced that they'd be supporting the Nintendo DS Wi-Fi Online System at E3 earlier this year, lets hope that's not the only thing they have planned to use the online play.

I'm now convinced that Nintendo won't release the Play-Yan for the DS. I now believe that we'll be able to download a program via the wi-fi and install MP3-playing functionality.

I also now think that Blue Burst will be released on the DS...
cool... online...
I wonder if they will do an expansion online thing for the urbs...
Yea i know what you mean Shade, theres loads of games out now that'd be ideal for online... like Bomberman! All we can hope for is some kinda expansion, but i doubt it'll happen! lol
Maybe they'll have some kind of downloadable mini games, etc
Well they ARE making that new Bomberman game, aren't they?
They are?! Sweetness ^_^
Well I got the info from you so don't act all surprised. Tongue I thought I saw it on your crazy list of new releases.
Lol! So they are, Bomerman Story, how silly of me to forget! XD

I think the only thing i took notice of on that list was Tales DS! Hmm... imagine if THAT used Nintendo Wi-Fi... *falls off chair* :O
Yeah that would be amazing. The Tales of Symphonia co-op mode is awesome enough, but imagine playing with people across the world. *drools*
