If Nobby Noob doesn't have any PB though at the time (ie: he had recently used a Photon Blast and he later killed himself with his Psycho Wand) then you can't do that. That normally won't happen though because the hit that kills you will give you some PB.

i thought you need 10 pb to donate?

I know you can donate up to 10 PB, but I don't know if it has to be 10. I know if you are currently at 0 though when you die, you can't do diddly. I'll need to do some multi-player with myself and look into this...

Odd that... because I've had a character in an area where I keep getting killed in one hit, but never received any PB on the mag.

No... this I'm certain of. Especially since I have gotten 100 PB on my death hit many times and I have been very mad about the timing of it each time it happened.

I also remembered in a thread where Tycho explained his beating the game at level 1, he said that in Ultimate at level 1, even with 0% Sychro on his mag, the one hit kills maxed his PB from 0 to 100.
