My new RAcaseal has just advanced to her first rare shot, the Meteor Smash. Now, even in areas with six or seven enemies I still can't bring myself to use it.

My Custom Ray ver.00 brings down anything except A. Beasts with no fuss whatsoever. When facing enemies like the worm and Barba Ray I use a Guilty Light, which just works so much better.

I've been using a Spread Needle on Blue Burst and that's a fast worthwhile shot, but the early shots just seem too slow and not damaging enough. What do you think, are they worth having?
all shots are worth it, i remeber in the beginning that shots were coveted.
shots are only useful when you have the power/accuracy to back them up.
its just a lower leveled character+high lvled area=no shot.
Spread Needle can defend you in high difficulty situations, shots are more based for when you have some backup. I use my own 30% hit Meteor Smash with my RAcaseal fairly often, but I usually flip out one of my two Yasminkovs instead.
shots are damm useful EXP getters, but if you dont have the power or accuracy to back them up their slowness really isnt good. i think that all shots with yellow wrting are useful, and dont own a spread needle so cant comment on that. personally, i think the best shot would be on a RAcast with high hit+other%'s, blizzard arms. why? and androids get a boost to freezing power. it would basically be a shot version of the FS. bring it on!!!
I love Shots - it's the only reason why I will play as a Ranger.

But, to get around the slowness of most Shots, try to get your hands on a /Battle unit...
I think all of them are useful. Needles are really Rifles, Final Impact is the best Shot (50 hit Charge Arms are nice too) ignoring the S-rank, the other two 9* ones aren't really that much worse.
I just c them as good weps to clear rooms with great ease just a bit annoying wen u always find Crush Bullet...
you just got to love the shots they may be slow but whenever i'm in a sticky situation i always turn to my shots especially in ruins where using a rifle lets the crowds of enemies move forwards during the second hit
thats where having a slow weapon comes in handy because they only get to move on the second hit if you're atacking too fast. the power on them i say is good enought concidering that it hits 5 enemies
yeah, even if they had 0 atp rise theyd still be pretty good. unarmed combat on 5 enemies isnt all bad you know Tongue
Depends on what character type you're using. Might switch to RAcast instead. More power.
