Omg, i didnt even know this was out yet. but i just got my paws on it. 
. IT FRICKIN ROCKS! it helps to know the story line though if you know about skateboarding and know about or read a biography of Z-Boys or saw the movie Lords oF Dog Town. its awesome dude. seems a bit goofy at first though >_>.. But its pretty much al the most popular cities in calafornia but you dont have to load going place to place! in fact the only place you load is at the start when you turn on the game (duh gotta load some time) and the only other place is when your creating your own grafitti art graphic (doesnt go to loading screen though pretty much like a 2 second thingy).
Story Mode: First you must pick One of Five skateboarders (not pros basiccly pre-made) dont worry the only thing that will be the same is skin color face body shape height and stuff you can completely change their hair and clothes. You are a noobie skateboarder runaway and they added moves that the legendary Z-boys did. Bert Slide, Nata Spin (etc.). its awesomeness. And You met up with a chick. Everyone shows absolutely no respect and you have to prove yourself. After learning basics and maybe making a bit of doh youll go to beverly hills on a search to find a guy that skated with the z-boys. The object of this is at a point in time you will find a desserted place with rusty ramps and stuff and you see a comic strip of a awesome skate park and want it to be like that you then go around town doing a lota missions around calafornia to demoliate stuff and bring it back to the "skate ranch" to make teh awesomeness skate park. You can grafitti. change decks wheel color etc. Clothes. Shoes. Hair. Accesories. Do Skate Sponsor challenges. Get tattos. and lots more.
Classic mode: If you played Tony Hawk 1, 2 ,3, or 4. this is what it will be like, just the basic go around and do goals type thing. the levels i have unlocked so far seem to be a mix bettween the first 4 games. This also has co-op play. Characters you can play as include created skater, Tony Alva (Z-boy back in the 70's one of the people that made skateboarding very popular and introduced a surf style and the tricks such as hand stands and flips to skateboarding. The first skate boarding world-champion. basiclly one of the most important people in skate boarding history), Ryan Sheckler, Bam Margera, Ivan Rodriguez (i believe thats his first name), Eric Koston, Tony Hawk, Secret Characters, Rodney Mullen, and more.
This Game also has a create-a-mode where you create skaters create Skate parks and stuff. And this has Online play.

this is a very good game, better or damm close to pso problem is this game will eventually lose its enjoyment after beating classic and story mode.;_;.
