alien 1 and ju-on.

i havent seen ju-on yet but i have the movie. mine is Amityville

I like the excorcist. I think it is not scary but it is a great film.

Land of the Dead....also not that scary but a gr8 film nonetheless

I saw The Exorcism of Emily Rose recently, and while I didn't find it all that scary, it was a good movie nonetheless(well acted, nice ominous feel to it). Too many "scary" movies just try too hard to scare the bejesus out of everyone with special effects and 600 gallons of fake blood that they lack a good/believeable plot, and I can't help but feel that I've wasted my money.

Yeah, exorcism of emily rose sucked. The Grudge was an excellent, and so far my favorite scary movie

Ju rei: The Uncanny, as wlel as Ju Oh and Ringu. Those are three of my favorites. For American, I like Saw and Saw II, even if there was a lot of gore.

Creep(good story)

Will add to this list as and when but these are a few films that have had the ability to make me jump. (not many films do that for me anymore) lol

forgot to mention 28 days after. a brilliantly shot movie.
