I found a Hell Arms with 20/0/0/15/35. When I got it I figured that it'd be usefull seeings as I could hit 5 enemys at once. My question is does the Hell special get downgraded like Gush and Spirit? My Gush Arms only steals 39 health from each enemy. Will the hell special be reduced to only killing enemys part of the time?
yes it will. the only weapons that wont reduce are some special weapons (eg. demo comet, meteor cudgel, etc.) and the charge, beserk+spirit specials. theyre not that great, specials on shots as shots are generally iunnacurate AND slow.
edit: s ranks dont reduce either
Thanks, I was thinking about useing it because of its 35 hit but from what you say it won't work very well so I guess it'll just sit in my bank.

No. Spirit does not reduce.
The Hell special will work 1/3 as effectively on up to 5 enemies (not like it works in Ultimate anyway). On and S-Rank Shot, Hell would work 100% effectively on up tp 5 enemies, but then you can't have a hit%.
The 35% hit on a Shot type is still nice though.
Yea, I may use it occasionaly when doing quests like addicting food and soab.
