Hmmm. My opinion is that the RAmar is like a HUmar with a bit more ATA and less ATP, but can be very easy to start with.
The RAmarl looks cooler, but it all depends on how you want to play. Both are good enough depending on how you play them.
I'd go with the RAmarl only because she can have a eye patch, and can become a Pirate Cleric. (I've still yet to make her...)
You must be bad at using RAmarl, then, NetNomad >_>
Do you use S/D/J/Z on all monsters? Do you optimize your technique levels? Do you have a mag fitting your class?
Raziel (my RAmar), never dealt damage superior to Terra's at the same Lv. Inferior Shifta + no Zalure = weak.
I'm talking about in similar-S/D situations, like the last time we discussed RAmar/RAmarl.
We've already established that RAmarl does better soloing.
EDIT: And for clarification:
Both characters have all their support techs maxed (my RAmarl still has a few missing lv20 attack techs)
RAmar's mag: 20/120/36/24
RAmarl's mag: 10/122/48/20
It should be noted that she got this mag about the same time as she got the twin (which was good because the mag was necessary to equip it
). She originally had a generic 30/90/50/30 mag, which of course sucked out loud. Now she's a bit better but still doesn't do as much damage as my RAmar under the same shifta, unless she berserks of course.
RAmar will do more dmg with same s/d/j/z because of his higher atp, but the fact that RAmarl has higher than him makes her a bit better.
personally: i prefer RAmar. i find him funner and easier to play with, and more rewarding. i see nothing wrong with him whatsoever, but you have to take things not so fast. (mine at lvl 100 for me, which is probably why your having a problem at lvl 77!!)
RAmarl is good, better in a solo situation, but personally i find a bit less fun to play with and more complicated, and harder (always casting j/z).
in short, GO RAMAR!!!

HAHAHA...my favourite was when i played on DC, i wasn't exactly what you'd call legit, but nvm that, when you use a HUcast with a rod, and just walk, it looks VERY funny...a mincing HUcast...lol

Have started a RAmarl. Should have ages ago, just love the John woo style shooting yay. Only 195lvs to go lol.

I am sort of rethinking the "coolness factor" advantage of the Ramar...
im contemplating lvlin my RAmarl up a bit more...she's lvl 60 now, but i also want to lvl my FOmar, who is only lvl 18 at the mo, but then again, it would be nice to lvl my HUcast..he's been stuck at 97 for far too long..lol...im far too lazy for this game...
