Ummm.....Of course EV's work......

They've been there since the R/B/Y days, but it didn't really become known till the G/S/C days, then I didn't discover it until the R/S days.......
but um.....I think you have to wait till the water goes down. The tide comes in and out according to the time of day. Just wait half a day before going back in. I forget exactly how that works.
Corphish shouldn't be too hard to find -___-; but then again, I don't remember if he's a version exclusive, so you might have the wrong version. But Good Rod should be adequate for finding him. And Snorunt is the rarest Pokemon in Shoal Cave, I think there's a 4% chance of finding him, not totally sure, but he's a hell of a lot easier to find than Lapras in LG/FR
Where's the best place to raise a Dratini
DW about corphish i got one and thanks for that, is it a leaf stone or a water stone you use on lombre to get ludicolo
Water Stone, and remember once it evolves it won't learn anymore of it's level up moves. Just make sure you get all the ones you want.
Dratini is a pretty horrible Pokemon, Dragonite is okay, but you'll want to split it's EV's into half, so give it.....512/2....256 for Atk and 256 for SpAtk, but they only go up until.......206 or 226.....it's an even number, I forget the exact number. What's left over give to SpDf. Sorry I can't be of more help. I'm kinda' shitty when it comes to remembering things like that. I usually just split them up into about 3-4 ways. It gives you a much more rounded Pokemon.
Ah HAHAHAHAHA shoal cave was dry

shoal cave was dry

. No Snorunt, is it everywhere or just in a specific part, if so info is greatly recieved as the tide is out and saved it in there. I need to find one because i need to do other bits and bobs. Also where do you find the 3rd and 4th rod (super and....)
where do you get sp.atk ev's
Don't worry about the Snorunt, me has a Glalie
SpAtk EV's....are....Tentacool gives SpDf...I think Oddish gives j00 it. Not sure.. You can always check out

whats this so called "EV"?
I won't get into specifics, but EV's (stand for Effort Values) are part of a secret statistic in the game that decides if your Pokemon is badass, or weak as hell. Depending on how you spread out the points, say, a level 100 Absol, could pwn an 00ber legendary such as a level 100 Mewtwo. Basically, every Pokemon you can fight in the game is given a specific value, (1 or 2) and those are EV points. Using certain items (Macho Brace is a must, Macho Brace and the Pokerus virus is highly encouraged [even if you only have a 1/24000 chance to get the virus[[which I did get in my Ruby version

]] ] ) YOu can double the number of EV's you get. Now for a real example, Pidgey is assinged 1 Speed EV, with a Macho Brace (that doubles the EV's you earn) it becomes 2. To add one stat point to your Pokemon you need 4 EV's. So with the Macho Brace 2 Pidgeys will give you one stat point to Speed when you level up. You do that a lot of times, you get a lot of stat points.
