ok. i have red sometopics about this , but even you say that time or beattime does not affect drops i will say that in some way the game is affected.
here are the reasons that i believe that i based on.
twin brand-the first times i did vhard ruins i found a twin brand, and a few days later i found another one, after that for many times i do vhard ruins, they do not apear, a common weapon turned into a rare weapon.
brave knukle- i did vhard forest for a long time and no rares, until every day i played i was able to find the brave knukle, after that long period of time, they stop apearing to me(maybe because i played on a different time of the day) "heres a brave knucle finding" 0,0,1,1,1,2,1,2,2,2,1,2,1,1,1,0,0,1,0,0,0,0...........(as you can see, sometimes i even found 2.
red sword- ok the red sword is 1/900 from a crissom assassin (ultimate caves), i did not find it in the first days at caves, BUT there was a day that i found 2 red swords(cave1,cave2) luck or coincidence)
book of katana 3- i did many times vhard caves and never found this item, but one day on caves 3 , the last criature on a room gave me this item, i was happy................for short time because the FIRST criature in the NEXT room gave me the same item.
ultimate forest- tell me why sometimes i can't find special weapons, and sometimes i go to the pioner with 2 red sabers, 1 victor axe and 4 red handguns, talk about luck.
post your casualities and vote.
I do find it odd myself:
After playing the vhard forest with a viridia and a bluefull for nearly a week straight just trying to get a yamato, I eventually gave up and decided to hunt something else.
A soul banish and a Twin Chakram. So, I made a RAcast, skyly, for the soul banish and my lady made a fomarl of the Oran sort. We got both of them to Vhard, and on the first run for BOTH of them, they found a yamato. Now, excuse me, but their drop rate from the vhard dragon is no different from bluefull or viridia.
What the piss?

Musashi did a similar thing to me with said bluefull and viridia. When I first went to hard, long, long ago, I found about three musashi. But if I take any characters through there now, including those viridias and bluefulls (usually just to test certain things), I don't see the musashi anymore.
What the piss?
I don't believe it. Coinsidences perhaps, but I don't believe the beat effects the drop rate. I mean i've found 2 rappy's wings right after another, yamato 3 runs in a row before, 2 Nar lily's in the same room, one drops rare other doesn't, etc... Chance is what controls your drops, nothing else factors... Atleast that's what i've been told and how I see it in my own game experiences.

those things must piss you off for real, talk about bad luck.
It was actually proven that Beat time do not affect drops, or rare monster encounters.
