Just because they're weapon is a dupe doesn't mean that it magically gains a tag in the game that labels it as such or reduces it's damage and so unfortunately for you it is just as real a weapon as the legit one. In fact, the legit and dupe versions are exactly the same, and therefore they are not two different versions of the same weapon. It's not accurate to treat them as different (except morally).
Of course... programming wise they're the same. I've had people ask me, when trading, to give them backups but "give me the original first." Ooookay. There is no "original." As far as the game is concerned, they're all original... but that's off-topic.
I didn't mean counting ON, as in counting on them joining the game... I meant counting them as legit people pulling out the same weapon you would.

finally, someone that speaks sense! i never thought i would hear that! charge vulcs. w/ hit have no downside, is that good or bad?
*que kefka coming in* 'after careful research i have discovered, as well as several others that its bad. this is because.............'
ok, whatever. careful research, myass. as anti said, in a perfect game no-one would get hit, so why do you need a tank character anyway?
XD... I disagree with Kefka on several things... but the HUs with mechs thing, I don't.
I'm gonna say this again and I'm gonna make it really nice and big so you all don't repeat yourselves... again...:
I'm well aware that charge vulcans with hit% are statistically good weapons. I never said they weren't. I said that just because a weapon is statistically good doesn't mean you should use it to fulfill your role. So please stop telling me BUT NOMAD CHARGEVULCS R BEST WEPS EVAR LOLOL, kthx.
Yeah, I'm not saying you should use them if you dont want to. I fully agree endless mech fests are boring, it's just my Hucast is in Ult at a low level and I find they're the only things that give him the damage he needs as well as keeping away from stronger enemies.
As soon as I find a chainsawd, I'll use that instead. Well, technically i have an SJS but killing 20000 enemies with it doesnt sound like a barrol of laughs. And it's not even that great anyway. The TJS might be a different story >.>
I mainly use my force anyway, I like all the spells ^^;
pink Wrote:I really prefer close-range combat over distance weaponry. I can shatter groups of enemies with a good Vjaya and some money in my pocket. I have a tendancy to use Vjaya and either a Double Saber or Double Sword type weapon. Normal, Hard, Hard usually works out well as well unless you have ATA issues. In which case Normal, Normal, Hard works perfectly if your timing is good.
but with ranged weapons you can hit the criatures at a distance, you do not need to run around or aproach, killing the bosses, also with guns
ex.. dark falz- you can do mor damage on the 1st form with a gun then with a sword, because the dragons head is no longer on the grond, with guns either on the ground or not, you will be always hiting him
if you want to do close combat, dagers, are not bad, cosidering the speed power, and hits; double saber is also good, maybe even beter the a dager, when there is lot's of criatures, use a sword, but if you tend to do hard atacks then use a partisan (this is not what i was trying to say)
( i only wanted to quote pink)
It's possible to hit Dark Falz's dragon head even after he raises with sword type. I've done it many times, you just have to get in a certain position.

ok. it was just an example, another example, dark falz 3rd form, with an handgun you can hit him in every position, now try that with a sword.
i maybe a humar but guns are my salvation.
I can agree with you on that. I always have at least one long range weapon for all characters, even hunters. They're usually my life savers on certain occasions with my humar on ultimate (I'm only lv. 90).
There are definitely a couple of no-melee zones, which is why I suggest that every HU DOES carry at least one gun weapon (my non-droid HUs carry Psychoguns, my droids have the gush vulcans, and all but my HUmar have Red Handguns... he has a Holy Ray). The thing about hitting things from a distance, well, that's the ranger's job.
As for Falz form 1, I usually mech the heads when they're off the ground, and use my twin when one of them is on the ground (for my HUs anyway).
I've learned how to use short distance weapons on Falz 1st form, so I don't switch to long distance until 3rd form. I only have one hunter (my strongest is humar at lv. 90 currently) and he uses Varista with 20 hit% or Inferno Bazooka. Not a strong long distance arsenal, but hopefully that will change soon.
drop the inferno bazooka, in ult inferno is just not good enough. the varista is decent since it has hit but i'd only use that if you dont have any other handgun with hit.
For meleeing the most vital stats needed are def, atp, hp,ata, and maybe luck if you want too do a LOT of damage, but being hucast that shouldnt be too hard

. My ideal units for a melee'er is (for gc) god arm, god arm, god battle, god power. Then my weapons would be (work on huntin em

): red handgun for range, Chain Sawd or s-rank sword for groups (being a cast the chain sawd w/ hit and gush special would be very nice for you), black king bar for the single enemies, and if you prefer partisans over swords get a soul banish, and for a slicer ( i personally dont use them) use a diska of bravemen with like 50 hit if you like berserk or a red slicer/flight cutter preferrably all with hit but that would take time to hunt. For a frame i would use electro frame, brightness circle, or virus armor: lafuteria (sp.?). then for a barrier (dont use kasami bracer... no need for evp) i would use an uber def stand still shield, and then for a mag i would use a 5/140-150/45-55/0 rati mag, rati for the shifta and deband when youre soloing. maybe a sato or nidra for the invincibility but i find s/d better.
make sure the mag has twins. I'm not even going to into mat usage because i dont know alot about that stuff.
hopefully this will help, if anyone thinks this guide is lacking or incorrect information than i would use one of ragol's guides.
the'!!' in my sig will tell you how to make the perfect (insert class here). i would recommend a rare mag with m+y as PB's. also, more dex on that mag, as most hunters have no problem with pow, but seriously need the ATA.
