ok, got my HUcaseal onto ult YAY! and like all my androids she has a HP stealing wep to keep down the cost of mates. its a drain railgun w/ 50% hit. now, my RAcast has a gush laser w/ 55% hit. the thing im confused about is i know theres a cap of 120 hp steal, but my drain railgun does 120, and so does my gush laser. would i damage the enemies more thanks to the gushiness, or does the limit stop me damaging them more with the gush than drain anyway?
you get more from gush, it steals 16% of max not 9% or 13%
eg. booma with 2000hp steal 9% and you get 120hp(180 without cap)+small damage.
booma with 1000hp steal 9% and you get 90hp+small damage
booma with 2000hp steal 16% and you get 120hp(320 without cap)+small damage
booma with 1000hp steal 16% and you get 120hp(160 without cap)+small damage
yeah, i know that, what im asking is on the booma with 2000 hp and 16%, will it hurt the booma for 320+small dmg but only give me 120 of that, or hurt the booma for 120+small dmg?
The HP Drain specials actually do hurt the enemy. If you need proof, go fight Elipson with a weak character and a Gush weapon. You will most likely do 0 damage, but after doing that enough, the 120's (and later lower numbers) that you drain will kill it. That is how I first killed Elipson... a Demon's Raygun, then finished him off with the Gush on my Red Saber.
lol, you guys seem to be totally missing the point- WN, thats how i killed v. hard falz and ult de ral lie with my RAcast, but what im actually asking is:
i know that i will do 120 dmg when i steal 120 hp, and 33 dmg when i steal 33 dmg. what i want to know is if i shoot something, and would steal 390 dmg with my gush whatever if the cap wasnt there, does the monster get damaged for 390 or 120 because of the cap
Oh. No. He only gets the 120 damage.
