i thought this would be kinda fun, my best/funniest mario kart moment was just a minute ago. i was bowser with his tyrant for the helluva it and i was like in 5th the whole time (grand prix) and i was just knocking people in the sand cuz i thought it was hilarious and it'd send them flying
. then at the end i got a star and took a shortcut, and was then in 1st but wario was behind me... so i took the star and reversed at the very end and hit him and gone
.
and in mario kart: double dash me and my family were playing, and i got a star again, and my step mom was close so i used the star and mowed her over 3 times
. for some reason i find pleasure in hitting people with stars
. funniest part for me though was how much she was cussing at me >_>

Probably our intense MarioKart races at my friends party. at first it just started with two people playing and then i joined in and soon the room was full of people watching everone race. it was intense cause we were playin N64 one and hadnt played it for a long time so we sucked. battling it out for 5th place and such haha. the ghost house was hardcore and so was rainbow road, we kept knocking each other off the edge on rainbow road haha, punches thrown, curse words yelled, and girls saying we should let them win hahah. all i know is it was some intense mariokart.
Hmmm..... I have good memories of banshee boardwalk where i got thunder in 6th, got a ghost stole a triple mushroom and came 2nd heh.
Pretty much all of my best Mario Karting memories come from when the Nintendo64 had just been released, me or my cousin didn't have one, and we used to rent the console, and Mario Kart 64 from a shop just around the corner, for weeks at a time and play it CONSTANTLY at my nans house. What i would give to get those good times back... Mario Kart 64 FOREVER!

i think mario kart n64 is one of the best games ever, with
super mario bros. and Ocarina (sp.?) of time.
Without a doubt, MK64 is the best version of Mario Kart around, all other re-incarnations are too well aimed at the kids :'( Definately features in my favourite games ever!

Why the hell didn't they include the Yoshi course from there?! The way it had you guessing who was in lead was uber.

Ah yea, the Yoshi circuit from the Nintendo64 version was definately the best course ever to start racing on! Deadly, and also like you said, you never knew who was in the lead until they finished... uber!
in a multiplayer on moo moo farm(ds version) i got given a ghost in second place to which i proceeded to steal a lightning bolt. Oh how i smiled and laughed....
