Has anyone else gone through all of caves or mines and realized that they forgot to activate the pillars? I did that with my ranger yesterday... annoying stuff.

Yes I did that the first time I played normal. That was a painful lesson!

It does get really annoyin, i went through each (except ultimate) mode and forgot each pillar each time. Now with my new characters, i have a list of the pillars i get, or i just make sure i activate them.

oh god..that happens to me every time! i just cannot stand that, because if i haven't beaten the caves and mines all in one sitting without quitting (hahaha....no, i did not mean to rhym), i have to walk through the caves again to get to the one in caves 2. god, i hate forgetting the pillars.

I hate it when you go through Mines, then at the Vol Opt warp, you realize you never found the pillar... so you have to look at your map for spaces you missed, then run all the way back... then run all the way back to Vol Opt. Annoying stuff.

Of course... I only have one more stage on one more character anyway now... Megaman in Ultimate Mines... So, yay me.

I go and beat vol opt then spend 30 mins findin that bloody pillar... lol... every time too...

and it seems every time you check your map, there are roughly three areas that you missed.
you always find the two with boxes only first. never fails.

i did that my first time in ultimate. i was ready for vol opt v2, but i had to find the pillar. finally found it toward the start of the map, only to get hit by a cotton pickin trap that wasted me.
haha.

it did not happen to me, i usualy play mines and forest for exp, and when i have power to do ruins, i play the forest, caves and mines and do not forgot the pillars. then i beat vol opt and go to the ruins to unlock it. i do not think it is painfull, it makes you do the zones again therefore you will gain exp.

I think i'd rather take 4 hours in the ruins. yowza meng.

Yeah I agree dude, Mines blows for the pillar.
I forgot it in Caves today, so after beating De Rol Le, I went back into the empty Caves 2 and got it heh.
