anyway, great poem!

I'm just posting them as i think of them.Mainly i've been writing my about usernames.

I like that poem nomercy. That first stanza wuth the "cut me in half" part is the one I related with the most. I can't believe I've overlooked this thread before. I'm glad I found it today.

Lonely Prince

Once was a prince
Who was revered my all
But who could have known
The magnitude of his fall?

His fall from grace
And a battle for truth
Became but a race
That stole his youth

Along the roads
Though dark and twisted
He soldiered on
Fought unassisted

Some time ago
He became a legend
Known only by the name
'Lonely Prince Blaze'

One shot left
A heroe's welcome
Failure would give
Nothing but sorrow

When it is over
I will come to you
The final bullet
Not to be wasted

All that i have
Poured into this
The last shot fired
From this life

And when i reach you
What will you do?
Love me for my flaws?
My failure?

Must i relive
The fateful moment
When i saw you there
Defiant,as always

One bullet
for who shall it be?
To end my sorrow?
Or to give you happiness?

Would i really do it?
Would i hit the mark?
All these questions
Left unanswered

Rings out
A red mist falls
As a curtain...

nice one. really mysterious, and there's also a lot to think about.

I based that one off of Final Fantasy VIII,when Irvine has to assassinate the Sorceress Edea.It is a cross between his feelings of it,and Squalls feelings at seeing Seifer there,as the Sorceress' Knight.
