Anyway, to explain what happened: In the Desert 3, there is a basic boss teleport. And we both went in at the same time. I think he was supposed to rush to the meteorite first... instead of me ? But I forgot, because this was so many months ago. =[ I shed INTERNET TEARS after the incident, but then fell in deep lulz reading after so many months.

my main character is a RAcast (duh)
don't seem like you had much luck with him
i've never needed traps except of course on bosses when i can't use them DX
i was playing multi with my bro and a friend
we was beating on dragon for ages until eventually me and my friend just got fed up and stood still with no items (healing)
my brother finally kills it (he had resta LV2 DX)
and then as it dies it falls on him and kills him XD
then me and my friend are running off with the items and exp

Even if you don't 'need' to use traps use them anyway (especially online) because it's very useful support and generally speeds the game up.

yeah but what if you want the quick exp and not a quick run through? XP
i always carry a master's blaster and some form of accuracy gear on me for when i wanna do that

ok let's just get on with what we was at before we get in trouble ^^;;

traps are teh pfft...
they take to long to explode on any difficulty rather than ultimate, and still there is a 4-5 second waiting period >_<...

that's why you shoot the traps over the enemie's head
and if they already went past it a little you delay their movment until i goes off on them
my traps have a huge range now so that's hardly a problem for me anymore
what bugged me once was on battle mode my OWN trap killed me when i was going past it

gotta love battle mode traps... lmao,
whenever i get to shooting the traps i'm usually being swarmed, i just sit and wait until they finally decide to pop, then only to realise none of the enemies were close enough to actually be effected...

you'd think by level 125, the range would have increased noticeably

preferably the crazy needle if im right that's the one with handgun speed and pretty good power

spread needle- rifle speed and pretty pants power. also, mechgun range.
