A game can't be judged by it's graphics. If you do judge games by graphics, I frown upon you >>
Sure, runescape is out of it for the graphics department, but who cares. Who plays a java game for graphics? << For that matter, who plays any MMORPG for graphics xD
Better graphics means higher requirements, more load times, and less people who can play it. Meaning Jagex would in turn lose money >> Oh, and lag would go up too.
Runescape is great the way it is, and they need to continue focusing on the gameplay updates they're so good at ^^ Though the system update for faster loading times/etc was convienient...
Anyway, I'm currently off runescape, due to the fact I don't like playing on free version, and that my brother has claimed the fast computer and doesn't wanna get off it much. But I have a lvl 91 character, Ultima Gaia, has full Torags and Dharoks, most of Ahrim's, and almost 4mil in extra money.
I don't just judge on graphics,although they do help.Its just...the gameplay of it as become sluggish,to me.
If you're not a member, then RS probably isn't worth playing << For long anyway.
Constant updates and such keep the gameplay alive for me, there's always something new to do.
I find point and click interfaces detract from gameplay. It became more like a chore than a game to me.
RS used to be fun to me, I can't play it anymore though, it didn't get boring, it just got "not fun" like everything else I do...guys, never fall in love...they eat your soul....
I disagree.Fall in love,its good.But i agree that RS gets not exactly boring,as much as not enough fun to warrant playing it.

This is going off topic... It either needs to be closed or someone needs to care enough to post about RS in a way that will 'inspire' other people to post
RS is probably one of the best games ever devised. It has a ton of stuff to keep "normal" people interested. I recomend it to anyone who doesn't already play it.
