I don't even dupe, and I bet at least one or two of my favorite weapons are illegit.

You should never, never, never, ever dupe /cheat/hack.

I just got corrupted and lost all my items and two very nice chara.

Getting FSOD and corr. is a risk we all take when playing online. I read a post in this forum on how to minimize the damage when FSOD happens and made a twist of that myself.

Just have a second mem card and store your best items on a backup char. And if you are going to trade or something just load up your online char and your backup and move the item. Then go online and trade.

That way the only thing you loose is your equipped items and nothing more.

your right, but using the anti-FSOD thing really does help a lot. Every time I've used it, it worked.

To replt to Serpent7's post. According to my small experience:
I play on the US ship Vega most of the time. And when I'm at the counter to join a team there are always 2-4 teams that are called something like "legitsonly" and such.
I always join thoose teams and it seems to me that they don't use thoose "über weapons" that I have seen in other teams.

But I guess there is no guarentee, cheaters are everywhere and on every MMORPG I have ever played there are tons of em'.

But I have met many ppl that I have exchanged guild cards with that I am certain that they are legit. So if you come online look me up and we can play.
