I will hopefully be getting PSU on the PS2, and everyone keeps saying how you don't need a HDD to play online. But my question is, is all you really need to play this is, a Ps2, the game, a memory card, and a credit card?
-Don't be frustrated if something I said is utterly erroneus(LOL) ,or asinine I was just wondering because I hear something different from everybody!
I'm sure there's SOMETHING you need to hook up to the online service. I'm no ps2 expert, but it doesn't make too much sense that there is nothing more than a game system and a license in order to play online.....correct me if I'm wrong. it could definitely be true though!

The PS2(slimline,at least)Has an inbuilt modem.You have to buy it for the original.
Do you have the Slim-Line PlayStation2 model or original PlayStation2?
- If you have the original model, you will need to buy a Network Adapter for your console (eBay).
- If you have a Slimline PS2, the Modem is inbuilt in the console, HOWEVER you will need to contact Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Customer Services (See your instruction manual!) as they will need to send you a registry disk so you can access your modem and take your games online - You will not be able to play online without the disk, so be warned!
I still say get the PC version!
