this is just a simple enquiry;
is it really worth the thousands of runs, to get? It looks good and in my eyes is the best sword in the game.
But do the man hours pay off, or is there a better sword that i should get
(obviously my id is SKYLY, but you wouldn't need half a brain to work that out)...
There are a few hunter weapons that are better stats wise (like daylight scar on PSOBB) but I got the SJS on GC and it is pretty stylish. I have seen some people using TJS on PSO:BB and it is worth getting IMO just for the stylish special attack which looks like a blue energy dome and uses up some PB.
No. It's a decent sword for HUnewearls, but way too rare for what it's good.
HUcasts and HUmars have Zanba, which is much better.
HUcaseals have more ATA, so S-Rank Sword owns TJS pretty badly.
If on BB, HUnewearls should use Yunchang over TJS.
Chain Sawd ans Flowen's Sword 3084 are also swords I consider much better than TJS.

I have the Chain Sword, but am currently using the Red Sword,
but the Zanba sounds pretty good, anyone else got any views?
i saw a movie were it shows a tjs in use, at the bosses, the damage is huge, the dragon, the 2nd boss is dead in a few instats, on the last boss it does +2000 damage in one single place.
Zanba can deal 3400 to the Cave boss, for one target.
TJS really sucks when you take the excessive rarity into account.
Yeah, if you REALLY must do the PB-dome special, Berdysh FTW. With hit if you can get one (but even without, it's cool for HUcaseal... mine uses one now). Of course, you have to not be a total moron and, say, use the special every time you hit 20 PB (when everyone else is near 100).
And I would agree that you have less to brag about with a Chain Sawd... even if it has hit like the one my HUcast uses. Personally I think, though hit% is extremely helpful, it's not much you can brag about since you can't really SEE it (it is for this reason that no one can brag about, say, how much hit their DoB has without boring me to death). But the Sawd's style is enough to make up for it, and if you got that for a HUcast or HUcaseal (with hit, for the former), you'd have quite an awesome crowd controller IMO.

yeah, the sawd is quite stylish, and for the rareness factor sawd every time, but TJ/SJS is REALLY REALLY REALLY cool.
I honestly think SJS looks better than TJS. I mean, wow, it's a thin metal sword. BIG DEAL. XD The only thing stylish about the TJS is the special, which you could get a million times easier with Berdysh.
