hi
just wanted to know if i could have some pointers to beat dark falz on hard. I know he has a thrid stage this time but not sure how to beat it and what to watch out for.

thanks
Ok, as soon as the battle with the third form begins, he will hit you with melee, extremely hard. He will then float about hitting random melee attacks. Switching between vulnerability from melee, and a form invincible to all but techs. He will then float upwards and he is invincible from all up there, and he will fire these blue balls, these hit hard, so run fast in a straight line perpendicular to their path. After you dodge them, he will use Grants, you can try resta dodge, but if it hits you it helps to have some light resistance. He will come back down and follow this same pattern for ahwile, then after a certain point, that dude will steal your soul, so when you hit him, you hit yourself. He will then go up again and fire the blue balls, and then megid, easily dodged and low level. This pattern continues until he is dead.
I suggest you equip a gun of some sort regardless of class, and some resist lights of some sort. Make sure to have foie set on the shortcuts, along with resta, trimate, and trifluid. Also, bring ten of each class of fluid and mate, you want to maximize healing items in order to survive. If you are an android, you are pretty much screwed because that reduces your attack time by half. I always take an offensive approach to falz, but if you prefer something else, go for it. I am SURE plenty of people will post counter-opinions.

I think you should equip a gun only if you're a non-tech user. If you're a casting FOrce, equip Club of Laconium (they're common rare drops) for the Foie, since the final form is indeed weak to fire, and that weapon boosts it by... was it 40%?
@ mirinee: yes, it is 40%

@ sephiroth/magician: "then after a certain point, that dude will steal your soul, so when you hit him, you hit yourself." iff you use a drain type, you will damage him,he will hurt you, and you will steal the HP he hurt ypou by back (so if you use gush and steal 20 HP, he will take 20 dmg, give you 20 dmg (so you're actually causing 40 damage, 20 to him and 20 to you) and then you will get 20 HP from the special, so he will be 20 HP down and you will be fine)
Thanks. 40% is loads Big Grin.

Is that just a theory? Won't you be doing normal damage besides the 20 HP you drain, and that normal damage is going to decrease your own HP?
cool thanks

ill go find club of laconium and i will go and TRY and kick his ass
good luck, if you mix all of our strategies, you will be fine
ok...

is there any lvl i should take him on at. Iam lvl 56
@mirinee: occassionally this happens, but not much.

@ magician: 56 is more than enough- i was in ultimate at lvl 49 with my RAcast XD (then again, he was tweaked to buggery- he had a gush laser 0,0,0,35,55 which was his main wep. against falz)
Rough guidelines for non-expert players.

Open Hard mode: lvl 20
Open Very Hard mode: lvl 40
Open Ultimate mode: lvl 80

Obviously depending on character class and player experience of the game these figures vary a lot.

As for techs over hand-guns, only if you're a force. Other classes may find it hard to get the range needed for their techs, and the damage output (especially ramar/humar) if the character is not tweaked. The techs are useful for when Falz cannot take damage normally (use foie).
