Clumsyorchid has posted today that after the maintenance for Thursday 27th, we will have two new quests for Episode IV:
A Dangerous Deal with Black Paper and
Pioneer Spirits.
With those quests, Single Mode for Episode IV becomes available.

Single Player mode on BB is equivalent to offline mode on DC/GC/Xbox.
The maintenance is done and we are currently testing things over. Took one hour of three so problems are to be expected.

what are the glitches? always getting SJS's, gulds, etc. from DDwBP and no bunny ears?

SJS and guld are not on that quest. Nor is HP, Psycho Wand or Prophets of Motav.
And you can't get Bunny Ears not apparentally.
Apparently there's a bug that drops a glitched Barrier in place of the Bunny/Cat Ears. Attempting to pick up the Barrier will disconnect you with an Item Sync error.
Guess I shouldn't be surprised that Sega messes up again on an update - how long do they spend on QA >_>;;
Two minutes - give or take. See they figure if two minutes of the quest works, well, gosh-darn-it, why not the rest!?!
If you want to be Anti-SEGA quit the game.
