I've asked around, and no one seems to care much what the letters on the Red weapons mean. The handgun says "i" one of them says "ff" and there are the other ones that I forget right now. Anyone have any idea what they might spell of if it's even in engligh?

When I got a hacked Red Handgun (I was a noob! I didn't know!) I was intrigued by the letters on the handle and now have set out on a quest to find all of the red weapons, decode the letters, and then tell no one of my discoveries unless I really like them. But I need help!

A common myth is that is spells out Flowen, but then why are some of them in ep1? and why is there an "i"? Stupid Appatitians...
They spell "Heathcliff", Flowen's first name.

Saber - HE
Sword - A
Dagger - T
Partisan - H
Slicer - CL
Handgun - I
Mechgun - FF
They were all available on the DC too, and I believe that they had the same letters then. From playing Ep2 and Ep1 in conjunction and by assimilating the story, you would realise that Rico and Flowen were good friends. Flowen gave his prototype series of Red Weapons to Rico as an act of friendship, and he had (or she had) the letters of his first name carved into them.

One must not separate Ep1 from Ep2 story - and there are several links back between them, in such places as Natasha's first speech, Flowen's messages and the Ep1 quest Soul of Steel. We have reference to Beta772, Calus and Vol Opt and Olga and even to D-Factor and the original meeting with Falz.

When Pioneer 2 arrives on Ragol, the actions of Pioneer 1 have already taken place, and it is in this setting that you will find both Ep1 and Ep2 set. The Flowen/Rico connection is backstory that is touched upon in several areas, so that is why the weapons are available in both stories.

But yes, the Red Weapons do spell Heathcliff - and so your common myth is actually true.

PS(O) There's no point hiding your findings from people you don't like - because they're just as likely to come around asking a similar question!
Well, that was a nice little mystery for the short amount of time it lasted! Amazing the little bits of detail Sonic Team have put into the game! It's the things that make you go Oooooh!
And here I thought it was Heathcliff the cat. Sad
Yep, they had them ever since DC. I remember making a list of what the letters were on all the red weapons with my boyfriend, trying to figure it out, when I accidentally read it was 'Heathcliffe' was on some forum :'(. We were still missing the Sword's and the Slicer's letters (bleh for rareness) Tongue.

Anyone figured out what it said on Dark Falz' 3rd form's circle or the Ep1 lobby on the panel just outside the shops?
On the Dark Falz circle it says...

Dark Falz.

If I remember correctly. I checked after I beat him on Very Hard.

And it's Shopping District outside the shops.
"I've asked around, and no one seems to care much what the letters on the Red weapons mean." It happens. "The handgun says "i" one of them says "ff" and there are the other ones that I forget right now. Anyone have any idea what they might spell of if it's even in engligh?" What's engligh?

"When I got a hacked Red Handgun (I was a noob! I didn't know!) I was intrigued by the letters on the handle and now have set out on a quest to find all of the red weapons, decode the letters, and then tell no one of my discoveries unless I really like them." That's evil, but we already know anyway. "But I need help!

A common myth is that is spells out Flowen, but then why are some of them in ep1? and why is there an "i"? Stupid Appatitians..."
It spells out Heathcliff. No, not the cat. Heathcliff is Flowen's first name. That would make his whole name Heathcliff Flowen for all the slow people out there. Did I touch all the bases? Do I get a cookie?
Play nicely! I'm on a PSP and the keyboard is crap.

Also, I have no cookies. That one idiot stole them all...

As for the floor, it's hard to read, but I think it might say "So Dark Failz Falz" Could be a bit of engrish... (If you don't know what that means, look at engrish.com)

By the way... I'm not evil, I just hate hackers that kill stuff too fast, so I won't tell them.

Also, they thought the letters spelled Flowen. THE LAST NAME! Ok, I'm done!
You know, some people think when Olga Flow makes the distorted noises as he descends into the fray on his first form he actually says something. I heard he says "you killed my goddess" or something along those lines... Personally I think it's listening into it a bit.

Anyone actually know what the brute says? Or is it just angry grunts/laughter?

Edit: there should be a myths sticky some time Tongue
